O cantor country Keith Urban participou recentemente de um programa de rádio nos EUA onde, ao ser entrevistado, foi questionado sobre qual música ele estava “no clima” para fazer um cover no momento. Keith respondeu que disse a Taylor que quando ela escreveu “Better Man” era uma boa música e que se identificava com a letra por se colocar no lugar do homem que é descrito na narrativa da música.

Após isso, o cantor fez um cover mudando algumas partes da letra para se encaixar a um ponto de vista masculino, criando uma nova versão.
